The mission of the Dreyfus Health Foundation is to promote better health and quality of life of people around the world. DHF works to achieve its mission through PSBH methodology. Based on the knowledge that health is both a product of, and a vital factor in, community development the PSBH model was developed in 1988, to be used as a tool to enable individuals in a community to identify local solutions to local problems. It challenges them to accept responsibility for improving their quality of life and gives them a basic, but highly effective set of skills to do just that.
